Scarlet Letter To Hester Prynne

In the Scarlet Letter, Hester Prynne is forced to wear a red A for adulterer. She was forced to wear her public shame for the rest of her life. If I had to wear a letter for the rest of my life, it would be an M for mouth. I am a very loud person, and I talk too much and I’m obnoxious. That letter would fit me really well because I have a problem with talking. Ninety-nine percent of my teachers say that I have a problem with talking, and don’t really like it all that much. Talking too much is something that makes most people mad. When I talk more than I should then I have a higher chance to make people mad. I got in some trouble yesterday for talking too much. One of my teachers yelled at me for talking to a friend of mine when he needed help. She held me after class for five minutes and yelled at me the whole time. She got really angry at me and I told her I would stop talking all together and she said that isn’t she wanted, she just wants me to talk less. I swear more than I should, I like to use them even though I shouldn’t. Some people don’t like it when I say those words, but I still say them anyway. When I swear I don’t think about it very much, I just speak them, and worry about the consequences later. Those words have never been a big deal to me they are just words, and have no meaning other than just words. I say them around my friends, but I try to not swear other than that. Quite a few people around here don’t really like it because they have some type of religion that they follow really well. That is one of the most irritating things to some people.
