Satire Essay On Homeless People

It’s sad that there are so many homeless people. Every where you go, you see at least one homeless person on the side of the road holding a sign saying, “Need Of Food. Anything Will help.” It’s a huge probem for the society. If they were to get sick then they might not be able to go to the doctors unless they were dying. If they were to get stabbed or shot when no one’s around, then peope wouldn’t notice, even when the body is found. If you were a homeless person, how would you feel? Would you want someone to give at least $1.00 so you can get a clean drink, or give you at least a piece of bread? Most homeless people are kind and caring, but most people who aren’t homeless judge them, like a book, by its cover. They don’t think about what homeless people have been through, they don’t think about what or who they had to lose. Only if people were to think about how they feel, how they struggle, and how they get hurt physicaly and mentally. If there was a social exeperiment, people would just look at you and keep walking. There are nice people out there and it’s sad that most of them are homeless. If you were to drop your wallet, a homeless wouldn’t steal it - they would give it back. Increasing the amount year by year. In 2013, there were 312 homeless state wide. But know in 2017, there is at least 1,394. During the years, housing income has increased, more drugs are introduced, more people become racist and/or sexist (landlords, family members,etc.), and jobs are starting to pay workers less. The minimum wage today is $8.50/hour. Homeless today are rooted to budget cuts, thus,making it hard to afford a 1 bedroom home/appartment.
