Samurais vs Knights
Samurais and knights both keep their people protected and safe so they’re happy. They are both very brave warriors in their time and you could say they’re both the best of their time. But that leaves us with the question, who would win in a battle, a samurai or a knight? I say a samurai would win in a fight and I have evidence to back this up.
The first way that samurais have an advantage is because how they fight and how they train to fight. In document C1 it states “The young warriors studied kendo (the art of fighting with bamboo) the moral code of the samurai, and zen buddhism. This is explaining that the samurais simulated fighting with katanas or other weapons by using sticks of bamboo so they don’t get injured …show more content…
Examples of this are in document D. It states “small iron scales were tied together, lacquered, and then bound into armor plates with silk or leather.” This armor was not too heavy for the samurais so they could maneuver very easily and dodge attacks and strike attacks fast. Also in document D is says “The helmet was made of 8 to 12 iron plates, and below it was a 5 piece neck guard.” The samurai's armor was very protected and was made very carefully.
The final way samurais were stronger is their weapons that they used. In document D, in the image of the samurai shows him holding a katana. A katana is a very long weapons that is very sharp and you can swing it fast and easily seriously injure or kill enemies. An example where samurais have better weapons is on the main page where it shows a samurai riding a horse and holding a bow and arrow. While riding the horse they can run away fast or come towards the enemies fast and it it harder for enemies to attack them while on a horse and with the bow they can kill the enemy from far away and it can easily puncture through the knight's armor and have fatal shots.
So over all, the samurai is the better warrior and would beat a knight in a fight. They have better weapons, fighting methods/training methods, and better armor. Therefore, the samurai will beat a
