Research Question/Sample Population, and Sampling Strategy

In todays political climate, it is my firm opinion that, active informed (citizens and/or voters) of the United States need to take firm action, and understand what is going on with each of the candidates running for political office, especially in regards to the presidential race. Getting involved does not simply mean we are understanding what they stand for domestically, we should also have a firm understanding of their foreign policy. This upcoming election in November 2016, entrepreneur Donald Trump is up on an average of + 10 points ahead of his GOP contenders (Real Clear Politics). I think that sitting in Nau/Gibson is the best idea for getting the most suitable type of candidate for my in-depth interviews because many of the students that walk thought the halls are in fact political science students, and may be more interested in talking about politics. I think that Nau/ Gibson is also a great environment for an interview because there are so many people , and the student , in my opinion, would feel more comfortable in an open space rather than going to a closed off area to conduct the interview. I believe that if I sat in the middle of the Chemistry building I would have a much less likelihood of having someone come talk to me. If a student does come and sit down to talk with me, I would thank the student for choosing to participate in the interview by giving them some candy. I would explicitly explain to them what I am doing , and that if they feel uncomfortable at any time dunning the interview they have the right to leave. After I have received their verbal consent, set up a recording device on my computer I would begin asking the questions so I was able to understand what they understood and felt about Donald
