Mr. Ross, your response does little to address the complaint. How do you explain handing out water collection kits and offering free water quality testing. Yet to date I haven't received any report on the sample I mailed-in? Given the sample size required in your kit is smaller than the sample size required by water testing laboratories. I don't believe High Quality Water of AZ ever intended to have the sample tested for quality.

Furthermore, I believe your only using the promise of water quality testing as a means to get consumers contact information for leads and to sell for profit.

You state in your response the company holds only two certifications. Yet your website and Mr. Pauchek's visual adds shown during the demonstration indicates

The water quality of the UHS creek that was determined was excellent. While the water in the UHS creek was excellent, not all water sources are. Many factors affect the water quality of a water source, but one of the most important effect is the way humans negatively impact water quality. One way is the runoff process. A large majority of the communities are Northern and consist of First nations community areas or fishing lodges. To determine the overall water quality difference between the canal and the Great falls, we have to first understand the differences between each water quality parameter and what it means. By starting with our first test, PH, we can see that the canal has a higher PH level, thus being more basic than the Great falls. However, both are in the 7.1-9.5 range, and can be classified under the low alkalinity condition which is described as “High-quality water with good productivity,” allowing “Lakes and streams [to] have large concentrations of trout with large specimens”(Boots). The next test we conducted is turbidity, turbidity is the measure of the degree to which water loses its transparency due to the presence of suspended particulates. In our…

Greene County native and co-founder of the Save the Nolichucky initiative, Alex Martin is concerned that “the water that they’ll be dumping back into the river not only is going to contain toxins, even though they say minuscule amounts, it is still going to be environmentally damaging to the area.” Furthermore, residents of the Cocke County side of the river do not have access to municipal water and fear that their wells may be contaminated by the dangerous chemicals (Strayer, 2014). "When they get that facility running, I'd like to see them bring a big jug of that water right down to my front porch and set it on my kitchen table and then I'd like to see them drink it," said Martin. The company claims that the water it returns to the river is unchanged from what it drew in.…

    Tap Water Cleanliness

Discussion The cleanliness of tap water is determined by comparing many different factors of the water’s composition to the acceptable or ideal levels that have been set for “healthy” water. The water samples from each city show that the tap water remains within an acceptable range. For instance, the acceptable level for Nitrate in water is 10 ppm, a maximum level enforced by the Environmental Protection Agency, and each city did not exceed that amount with the highest level being 5 ppm in one sample of Royal Palm Beach and one sample of Palm Beach Gardens (“Basic Information about Nitrate”, n.d.). Nitrite, which usually occurs in water due to runoff from fertilizers or leaching from septic tanks and sewage, is also limited to 1 ppm, which none of the samples exceed 0.5 ppm individually, or 0.2 ppm on average (“Basic Information about Nitrite”, n.d.).…

Water, something so basic and essential to sustaining life is taken advantage by many people. People don’t realize or care to know where or how their water is obtained until a big tragedy occurs. Because of this, the whole state of drinking water in the USA today is a crisis. Usually, we only make a decision based off of what we know from the surface and not the actual truth or core of it. I believe that us Americans should really think and be concerned about the state of our drinking water because we can’t go by what the congress EPA says because big companies like them only care about the money.…

Fighting Back Against Water Pollution Water pollution needs to be reviewed as the increase in toxins in possible drinking water has increased in the last 20 years. Through the use of our technology and use alternative renewable energy sources, re-evaluating our usage and methods of disposing waste preserving both fresh and marine water in the United States. A common discrepancy that is brought up when discussing water pollution is whether the cost will become too large to even begin creating change, that the amount of resources required to implement could be used elsewhere for a more immediate impact. The discussion of environmental problems is a topic of many political debates, but throughout the years scientific evidence has documented the…
