Samael: A Short Story

Flickers of suspicion arose in the younger's gaze and Samael immediately tried to accommodate 'be softer' he told himself, quickly realizing he was walking on glass. This Amaimon was both observant and well aware of the way his Samael....or whatever, act from day to day. Not to mention he was emotionally sensitive. This could go wrong easily. It was best to say as little as possible and not jump to any conclusions. He lifted his hand to touch the others cheek gently, offering up what Amaimon seemed to want which was physical touch and comfort. This at least he could see as the base of his worries, denying his touch. As long as he could stomach the earth king's touch he should let them be close to sooth his worries. This was beyond a touchy situation and he could not mess it up, it was beyond imperative that he didn't. " I'm sorry I was gone so long, is there anything I can do...?" He asked quietly, softly. He could hear the worry in the other demon's voice, the loneliness, the deep longing. He would go along with it, play off it. It shouldn't be too hard to roll with. Samael was glad to hear a laugh, it mean the was doing better, convincing Amaimon of who he supposedly was "well it's always true."

"Alright," he nodded, taken back by the worry in the earth king's eyes, concerned that he had said the wrong thing. Worried he'd been caught, but thankfully Amaimon's words were laced only with concern as he spoke"I don't think I can eat dinner...I'm felling a touch under the weather. I don't want to tempt it," he murmured, not wanting to spend anymore time here than necessary. He was worried he'd mess up. He had already messed up enough. He gave a relived sigh as the younger spoke, taking away some of his fear at being found out "....that's good..I'm glad you're not mad. I'm mad at myself for it....it's just been a bad day.." He hugged Amaimon close, swallowing his displeasure with the actions. "I'm tired of unproductive days...I'll take a break perhaps," he added as Amaimon sighed heavily, seeming annoyed with his words. It felt so odd to speak negatively of Lucifer. The light King in his dimension was his favorite sibling. Someone who he looked up to and respected, who worked hard for their father and for all demons. Well, ones who weren't traitors, like the him in this dimension. God, the him in this dimension sounded absolutely against his own kind. what sort of sick creature was he? "I hope things work out..." He wasn't too sure what to say, but he hoped it would appease the other. Yet again there was doubt in Amaimon's eyes and he cupped his cheek gently, swallowing

The kiss that made his stomach churn sickly. Amaimon was too close, his overly sweet earth smell oppressive. This was much closer than he ever wanted to get to another male, let alone his brother, let alone someone so uncultured and uncouth and low ranking. He felt like he might puke. Still he had done it. He'd kissed back, he'd whispered sweetly, he'd let his fingers tangle in the younger's green hair. He felt as if he'd acted pretty well, he'd acted well enough maybe to convince Amaimon he was this dimensions.....Anuie? 'I don't know which is more disgusting, the kiss or that
