What I found out about this organization, is that this organization, puts their faith in everything that they do. By putting their faith first, this place help the homeless and any struggling person. The Salvation Army is an organization that helps people when they cannot afford things themselves. This organization is the place to drop your older thing off that you do not use so someone can use it for their needs. Not only does it deal as a store it also helps people who are struggling with their bills. Also, for the homeless, the volunteers point them to places where that can found even more help and shelter.

That just leaves the two parts at the top of the pyramid to satisfy, the self-actualization and the self-transcendence needs. I know I can do more with the talents God has given me and while I was volunteering I knew that I was doing more to help people than I would ever do by just sitting on the couch. Therefore, my volunteering and using my time for people that need it more than I do, I satisfied the need to live up to my fullest potential and the need to go beyond myself (Myers, 2014 p.
