Greetings Team Members,

The Safety Sandwich is a concept that was designed to strength the safety culture of all team members with in the Allegiant Stations Operations System. It gives us an excuse to briefly talk about safety in every meeting and briefing even if the content of the meeting is not safety.

How does it work?
Consider the number meetings and briefings you have in an operational day. That is a lot of opportunities to quickly touch on a safety topic that is affecting your team today. Safety tips equip our team members with knowledge to avoid injury and damage.

Think of each meetings and briefing as a sandwich. The meeting content is the meat and vegetables on the sandwich and safety topics are the buns. Devote 60 seconds at
