1. Purpose: To clarify information on the removal of ineligible, promotable Soldiers Specialist, Corporal, and Sergeant (SPC/CPL/SGT) from the promotion standing list.

2. Facts:

a. The military currently has over 8,000 SPC, CPL, and SGTs erroneously listed on the promotion standing list.

b. Human Resources Command will remove Soldiers erroneously included on the current SGT promotion standing list that are flagged for any of the following reasons: Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) failure, no APFT data in eMILPO, expired APFT, suspension of favorable personnel action (FLAGS), or barred from reenlistment on or about 11 October 2012.

c. Brigade/Battalion S-1 and Military Division Personnel (MDP) are responsible for removing erroneous
