Gujarat government gave the concept of ‘Rurban’- the rural spirit with world-class ‘urban’ facilities with the aim to improve the standard of living and decreasing the migration rate of rural area people. Combining innovation with efficient execution, the Gujarat Government is working towards turning this vision into a golden reality. The Government began from an area that needs maximum attention. Otherwise known for unity and clan solidarity, villages turn into virtual battlefields particularly at election time.
Therefore, the government has introduced Samras Gram Yojana, Paavan Gram and Tirth Gram Yojanas strengthening a culture of consensus and clan solidarity of the village. Government’s Nirmal villages and Sakhi Mandal Yojana help to improve sanitation and financial activities for villagers.
