Since Rufus King has had very successful political life and was raised to believe that slavery is okay he approved of certain amendments and articles. The first Article i believe he would be most for is the second article although, he was not elected to be the president of the United states at the time i think he would agree and would be for the whole second article. Let’s face it every human craves power so he would also be against the whole separation of the powers. But since he couldn't change it i think he would have been against the Legislative branch making the laws only. King would be totally for section five of the second article. King owned slaves so therefore he must have been racist because they only believed in owning black people. The section states that the elected president must be a natural born citizen of the United states. And at this time all slaves were not considered citizens. An amendment Rufus King most likely didn't support is amendment 14.He most likely didn’t support amendment 14 because he was racist towards any non white persons. The 14th amendment states “ All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the
