Then they started doing a carpool. They even had a center for the black people to ride in a carpool. Rufus Lewis explained to them that there are three methods to an addition to the car pool for moving the population. The first method was to pick up Hitch Hikers, the second method was to pick up the servants of white housewives, the last method was to pick up blacks that were simply walking on the streets, and sidewalks. He then explained in the meeting that the car pool must not be stopped.
