President, actor, and Congressman are three things that represent Ronald Reagen. Many people knew that Ronald Reagan was a president, but he was so much more than a president. As a well known president of the United States, Ronald Reagan showed Americans that even though they are not a politician you can still do something good for society and if you put your mind to something you can do it. He left a lasting legacy as someone that will do things that nobody had the guts to do. The public would say that “ The Reagan revolution is running out of gas.”(Reschholoss 486) Some of the things that wouldn’t let him stay in for another term was his health because of the lose of blood and the next thing that I mention. The second to last year of his second term he figured out that he had Alzheimer's and Alzheimer's is when as time goes on you start to forget who you are. At the last term his vise president took over the White House.
Even thought that Reagan is not in the White House anymore Reagan left a big legacy behind. He is considered one of the greatest presidents of all time,“he made a huge alence with U.S.S.R that we still have with today and we will have in the future”,(“Ronald” 170) and he helped end the Cold War. Ronald Reagan's truly left a legacy as one of the greatest presidents of all time. He Inspired Americans to go something if you put your mind to it after he made an alliance with U.S.S.R.. He was a big hero of change because he made the United States of America go from 200 million dollars in debt to not being in debt anymore.
