For example the scene where the fight between the Capulets and the Montagues at the gas station, A capulet cousin crushes a cigar by stepping on it with no shame whatsoever. This shows that the Capulets hold a high standard and are not afraid to face what comes in between them. This symbol is meaningful because it tells you that they have an advantage of doing anything to try to hold a higher reign than the Montagues.
