We were created to worship him and be completely devoted to him. Paul addresses that the law is not just for the Jews but also for the gentile. Though those who are gentile and live by the law are Jews in their hearts. Paul states that the ones who live under the laws of circumcision as the Jews do does not necessarily mean that they live under the law of God, because they first must me circumcised in their hearts. Romans 2: 28, “A person is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code.” (NIV). Some even to this day believe that those who are not circumcised are sinners and break Gods laws, but someone who is not circumcised can also live under Gods law. Circumcision of the heart means that one is fully devoted to God. That someone must become humble and submit to God. God wants all humans to be a part of his kingdom and this is a huge part of human identity. Those who do not follow God are lost in the world and that is not Gods wish for humankind. In God, humans can be free and not slaves to sin. Sin is a curse that began with Adam and Eve when they disobeyed God. Though originally this was not Gods plan for the world. Up until the day of Jesus most of the world was in sin and this is why God had to send Jesus
