In the few past years the amount of people killed, harmed emotionally or physically, or harassed by police has been increasing steadily. How does the threat posed by the police parallel to the fierce monsters in the epic, Beowulf? The monsters disrupted the peace in the Dane’s and Geat’s land, similarly to the way the police have been disrupting the peace in our society.
