He started to focus on Security Engineering, while working with Regions Bank as a Security Engineer manager, where he provide guidance for addressing the confidentiality, availability and integrity of system operations. He managed security controls, system auditing, and network access control. Rodney Brown favorite domain are Security Operations and Security and Risk Management. Security Operations is his favorite because he like to work with Operating System. Main reason Security Operations is his favorite is because he think it is considered as the heart of information security because they restrict the way data is obtained and handled. Security and Risk Management is his another favorite domain because he said it is usually disregarded. The Security and Risk Management domain focus less on computers and more with people. It is very important to focus on security awareness by instructing IT staff about security threats.
