The movie played on the screen while actors acted on the stage. The actors never said anything just moved their lips to seem as if the characters in the movie where giving the actors their voice, never throughout the movie did the actual actors talk or even make sounds. Throughout the whole musical, the staged portion was lit by only one huge spotlight. There was no extra lighting that was added or special effects lighting, just one huge spotlight. Everything that was being acted out in the scene or that was important was in the spotlight. There was nothing spectacular about the choreography. All the acting or dancing was the same to mimic the acting and dancing in the movie. Of course some actions were different because they did not have the same set design and props but pretty much everything seemed to be a very truthful adaptation of the musical. All of the actors were very similar in basically wearing the same exact costumes as the actors in the musical where wearing, which made it extremely easy to distinguish who was who in the musical. The call backs and vulgar remarks that started at the beginning of the musical continued throughout the whole show. Even though the musical experience is extremely different from the time I first watched the musical in the comfort of my own home, going and being a part of the musical is an entirely different experience all together. When you come and experience the musical, the experience makes it more of a social event, something to go out and do. While watching the musical live a lot of the culture and the important themes and arguments being made to the world are lost. Rocky Horror Picture Show is still an extremely important and very strong musical with a lot of social arguments either way which can be interpreted in two completely different
