River Legacy Park is located at the banks of the Trinity River in North Arlington Texas, which is a natural habitat for 400 species of wildlife, 193 species of birds, and 28 species of trees (River Legacy, 2014). There are many non-living and living species in this ecosystem that rely on each other to strive. Some populations coexist while others are predators, but they still manage to live together. “Then God said, Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you; and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food; and it was so” (Gen 1:29-30, New American Standard Bible).
