young poet asks for advice on Rilke’s poems. Rilke also responds in many tones and words to describe
the young poet what to do. Rilke kinda shows a little of no care for the young poet at first but seems to
gradually get more interested. Rilke gives the young poet not just ideas but ways to do it himself.
The story/letter talks about a lot of the poet but in a good way. Rilke gives the poet these great
ideas to put them in a story and to do his own things. Rilke gives the poet new ideas to work give off of,

Rilke is showing and explaining to look
in himself for advice or help anything that’ll give him an idea to make a poem. Rilke later is uses the
word “begs” (Pg.5). This means he’s not really begging but as if he really needs help on his work.
Rilke uses a lot of words but these words don’t mean anything they have meaning he doesn’t
just say them. Everything he says has a tone and meaning to it even if it’s just saying a small sentence.
He uses words to describe a lot or give advice. He tells the poet not to do love poems because he
doesn’t won’t him to do what other people do. “Don’t write love poems; avoid those poems that are
too facil and ordinary;” (Pg.6). He wants him to make his own this something not original.
Rilke has a lot of meaning in this letter but he seems not to directly to tell the poet what to do.
He gives them a small portion of what he’s saying and for them to figure it out on their own. Rilke gives
a lot of good advice and just gives them an idea and them an idea to work off of. This shows that Rilke
