Right Knee Pain Case Study

Right knee pain. ICD-9 - 719.46

SUBJECTIVE:
The patient is an 18-year-old female referred to physical therapy secondary to right knee pain. The patient reports the date of onset was approximately two months ago. She reports her symptoms came on after running on the treadmill and since then her symptoms have somewhat persisted, however, she reports her pain is almost completely gone. She just has what she calls muscle tightness. X-rays were performed, which were negative. The patient reports that leading up to her right knee pain, she was working out five days a week, for about 30 minutes at a time, on either an elliptical, a bike or treadmill. The patient states that she continues to work out currently and reports minimal to no pain,
