Rider Tip

The most important thing a rider can bring to the table is safety. Safety starts before you leave your house by first checking your equipment and making sure your trailer is hooked up properly. Watercraft riders should have their head on a swivel constantly surveying the area and stay a safe range from the shoreline. Be aware of all hazards and try to understand the intension other watercraft o the water. Riders should be aware the water depth and only perform freestyle tricks when they have ample water depth they feel comfortable with.

Fitness Tip

Freestyle and racing of watercraft places high demands on the body and requires a high degree of core strength, agility, balance and muscular endurance. When starting your daily exercise you should always warm up for about 8 to 15 minutes and include a combination of dynamic and static stretching. By doing this you'll get the heart rate up and the muscles warm so they are ready for resistance or bodyweight training.

Is it important to understand the structure of our muscles? And if so how could this improve the results of our muscle exercise routine? One wise thing to do when deciding the muscles exercise technique we are going to adopt is to find out the type of structure a muscle is made of, muscles as we know are formed by either a slow-contract structure or a fast-contract structure, for example a muscle made of high level of slow-contracts structure reacts more favorably to high repetitions, so high level of slow-contracts structured muscles are more adequately trained in the 15 or over repetitions to allow the muscle to be enough time under pressure. Fast-contracts structured muscles are more adequately trained in the 6 to 12 repetitions.…
