Today, I am going to inform you about the life of a notorious mafia hitman, Richard Kuklinski, who was also known as the Iceman.
There may be many mafia hit men out there, but Richard Kuklinski will forever be remembered because of how open he was to discuss his life and killings on camera. 1. His full name is Richard Leonard Kuklinski.
2. He was born on April 11, 1935.
3. His family’s apartment was on Third Street.
4. He lived in Jersey City, New Jersey
5. His parent’s names were Stanley Kuklinski and Anna McNally
B. Now, let’s move on to his childhood.
1. He was abused by his parents, especially his father.
a. According to John Nardizzi, author of “Cracks in the Iceman” published on All Things Crime on September 13, 2013, “The abuse [from his father] led to the angry young man [with] classic serial killer behavior.” i. He killed the neighborhood cats. ii. He dropped out of school in the eighth grade. iii. He committed his first murder at the age of 14.
2. He had three siblings.
a. His older brother, Florian, who died, had injuries and suffered from his father’s abuse.

c. His younger brother, Joseph, was convicted of raping and murdering a 12 year old girl.

a. He became associated with the Gambino crime family due to a debt he owed to a DeMeo crew member.
i. Roy DeMeo took him out to the city street. ii. He selected a random target, a man walking his dog on the street. iii. Without hesitation, Kuklinski got out, walked towards the man and shot him in the back of the head as he passed by. iv. From then on, Kuklinski was DeMeo’s favorite enforcer.
