Post Infection Nose
Rhinoplasty, when not performed appropriately under the guidance of a well-trained surgeon may lead to complications, such as infection post-surgery. Moreover, the infection rates are much higher when using alloplastic implants, such as silicone and Gore-Tex. This is the reason why autologous (from your own body) materials are considered as a better and safer option. An infection is often accompanies by symptoms such as, redness, pain or swelling in nose, persistent nose drainage, and fever.
Once a patient develops an infection due to nose implant, it may lead to soft tissue injury and scarring, which may frequently cause a contracted nose deformity. In essence, if an individual develops infection post rhinoplasty surgery, he/she may be susceptible to the destruction of soft tissue and cartilage alike, and the subsequent scarring can cause significant deformity.

The answer I found from online stories is that four weeks after the surgery, it is highly unlikely to find air bubbles and if you do find some it should be at the top of the breast. If kept uncleaned for a long period of time an atrocious smell may begin to come from the piercing. Dead skin cells, dried shampoo or soap, sweat and dirt build up around the jewelry and inside of the piercing. The combination of grime is known to some as “ear cheese” because of the resemblance the odor has to cheese. Rubbing alcohol and peroxide should never be used to clean the ear piercing. Peroxide will dry out the piercing and make a rip or blowout more likely to happen when the next stretching process takes…

From my interviews on the three medical interns, the medical procedure on skin graft wound dressing was that the interns are supposed to remove the burn dressing from patients at 5.a. m in the morning on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The wounds were then covered with surgical towels soaked in a special medical solution so that when the surgeons arrive one hour later at 6am, they can inspect and determine the type of treatment that the patient requires. However, I observed that on those days, the doctors always reported later than 7am in the morning. That means that the graft wounds remained untreated for longer than was necessary, sometimes for up to three hours.…

There are currently 2 major techniques of performing rhinoplasty surgery used, namely, open and closed rhinoplasty. In open nose job procedure, the initial incision is placed on the outside fully revealing the internal structures of the nose. In closed rhinoplasty technique, the cut is made on the inside of the nostrils requiring surgeon's refined surgical skills. Closed rhinoplasty recovery period takes much less time and is associated with considerably fewer after surgery complications, however, this technique sometimes can not address all nose surgery needs that might require a full access for a surgeon to reconstruct seriously deformed or injured nasal…

For the past thirty years, the medicament in the socket had created a geyser of irritation and infection. The inflammation process desperately tried to break down the offending foreign object in the extraction site that could not be destroyed. As he cleaned out the medicament he had to extract hardened dark brown oily pieces and yellowed-tan pieces out of the tissues. The dentist later told me it was the worst mess he had ever seen. My body had tried over time to break down and rid itself of this substance but it was impossible.…
