The scene I will be discussing took place on day 6018. A is in the body of a homeschooled boy named George. A wants to see Rhiannon but is having a difficult time doing so because of the fact the George is homeschooled. However, after convincing George’s mother to take him to the library to get more information on the topic they were learning about, he was then able to meet up with Rhiannon. They had an excellent day together and become closer than ever until they were interrupted by George’s mother. The communication concept that I will be focusing on is nonverbal communication. “Our nonverbal behavior comprises most of what we do but the word meaning, including patterns of verbal interchange like gaps or pauses” (Heldner & Edlund, 2010).
