To begin with, advertisement is becoming a necessary and integral part of our everyday life. Advertisement is everywhere now: it can be found in the form of print advertisements in magazines and newspapers, billboards, telephone directories, mailers, and, fliers or in electronic media such as the Internet, television, and radio. It is a developing business that makes people come together and makes them think of some specific things or products. Such kind of business appeared in the 19th century, it is not that old so it is very interesting to search. I have seen a lot of completely different kinds of ads and they all have various purposes. That is the reason I would like to analyze one of them. Advertisement is one of the most influential things in people’s life and I would like to analyze, if the advertisement I chose is efficient or not with its purpose.

This information is quantifiable and helps us rationalize our decisions through hard data on money saved, time saved, higher status, and so on. This includes the use of logic, rationally, and critical reasoning to persuade. Logos appeals to the mind and seeks to persuade the reader intellectually. Looking at my advertisement, it is noticeable that there are just a few phrases on it. The main slogan or phrase here is «never again breaking up with your sweet tooth» which means that once you try, you would probably never then stop doing this. It indicates the great taste of the product and makes us want to buy it. There are also some facts about the selling product which is actually the description of it: «two light and crispy pastries, delightfully drizzled. It’s the perfect sweet, 100-calorie snack». The advertisers want people who follow any diets to pay attention to the fact that it does not have many calories and they can eat it. That is how logos works in the
