The Revolutionary War, which led to the end of the relationship between the Americans and the British, was a major turning point in the United States history. The war was caused by multiple events that eventually led the Revolutionary War. One of the first events was the French and Indian War and it was fought over territory between French and British. Then in 1765, the Americans were forced to be taxed on printed document and other goods due to the Stamp Act that the British established.
