One example that interpersonal conflict may arise is within groups when there is a team member who is a social loafer and every other person in the team knows what the person is doing. This person is the free loader and does just enough to get by. However, team members in the group know that individual isn’t meeting deadlines for group work, which place the whole group in jeopardy. Interpersonal conflict may arise simply because each individual can only handle so much. Each person should have the same amount of work load, and it should be balanced so conflict does not arise with the team members. If conflict does arise and one member wants to discuss the issue of a team member being a social loafer, they should approach them in a firm but Christian like manner. In this manner of approach, the loafer will not feel threatened. At this point the loafer should step up to the plate and become a team player.

Also, come up with solutions. The first solution is the main one but everyone needs a backup plan or an alternative solution, and myself and team members can determine the best solution overall. Then we must implement it and put the plan into action in order to improve the interpersonal skills. I am learning to be more assertive but not too aggressive. Last thing to do is keep focus but don’t take any individuals side and remain neutral. Preserving patience brings salvation and righteous to those that serves the Lord (Isaiah
