Relieve Stress with Resistance Training I have discovered that the best stress reliever for me is weightlifting or resistance training. Weightlifting has been a controversial subject in relation to fitness and health industry. Many in the public health field will promote physical activity and aerobic exercise, which will benefit cardiorespiratory fitness and body shape. However, recent research has demonstrated that resistance exercise training has many health benefits and can aid in relieving stress. I would like to submit to you that weightlifting is a great way to relieve stress.
