Resiliency Statement

Decent Essays
Around this time last year, my application for this Six-Year B.A./M.D. Program never got the opportunity to be reviewed because I did not achieve the minimum required SAT score. For me, resiliency is the ability to remain focused on an end goal despite the hardships that come my way. Resiliency is the mentality of a fighter; the mentality of someone like me who is determined to achieve my end goals. My end goal is to become a doctor through this program.
Despite the many SAT classes, hours of studying and practice, my official score was short by 50 points from the minimum. Ultimately, my end goal is greater than my moments of defeat. I’ve balanced a successful first semester of college while also practicing the SAT even more than I thought
