The Thomas Jefferson house has a lot of classical features that are described in the architecture of the building. If we first look at the middle of the building, we see a triangle right above the columns. Right in between the triangle and the columns is a large slab known as the abacus which is to support the architrave that is right about it. The triangle that is above of the columns is known as the frieze. The frieze is the widest and central part of a piece and is often richly decorated with relief sculpture. If we look again at the middle at the columns, those are also a type of classical features and have many different meanings.
