Nicholas Sparks is a well-known romance author whose novels almost never disappoint, considering all of his books have been New York Times best sellers. One of the books, The Notebook, was turned into a movie. Even though The Notebook isn’t the only movie inspired by his best-selling novels, I think it was the most popular and hands down the best movie. Sparks wrote The Notebook in only a short period of six months. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are the two main characters in the movie. Gosling plays Noah Calhoun and McAdams plays Allie Hamilton. The story starts by seeing Noah and Allie in their old age, Allie has lost her memory and Noah reads her their love story every day. The beginning of the story shows them meeting in one of the cutest scenes of the movie. He sees her at a carnival, and knows right away that he wants to be with her. He does not know quite why at first, and all he can say is that something inside of him is drawing him to her. He convinces her to give him a chance, and she eventually agrees to give him the date that he wanted. They go to the movies and end up laying in the middle of the road, from that night on they were inseparable. Their summer romance goes through all of the emotions that we all have experienced before.
