A Journey Into The Hobbit
A journey into the middle-earth, is where the author J.R.R Tolkien takes the reader in the novel known as The Hobbit. This book tells of a quest in which Bilbo Baggins, a small hobbit is hired by dwarves to come with them to fight a dragon and have a share of their treasure. There is much reason to believe that, even though not his intent, Mr. Tolkien had made his writings of Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit based off of a clear Christian perspective. On the contrary though, The Hobbit is a exquisite read if a reader is looking for quite a tale and a almost hidden but maybe more biased meaning behind a story. Christians believe in light and dark as the story has both its light and dark forces defying each other each moment goes on, as compared to the novel where the dwarves and Bilbo are always finding their way into the dark, as in this case they are the light. Perhaps the desolation of the evil dragon Smaug was maybe just a small craquelure in seeing that Smaug might just be based off of Satan, and with that being said the fine line between good and evil is clearly exhausted in The Hobbit, and maybe it is trying to express that there is good and evil in all of humanity. This author was alive during the time of the world wars, and maybe he was trying to put a message out, for humanity to put away their petty differences and come together through the light, and goodness inside of every single
