The Greek Gods and Goddesses are the twelve Gods and Goddesses that ruled the universe on top of the Greece’s Mount Olympus. The leader of the Olympians was Zeus. Each Gods and Goddesses represent themselves differently. For instance, Zeus (Jupiter) is the god of “King of Gods”, his symbols are thunderbolt, eagle and oak tree. Hera (Juno) is the god of “Queen of the Gods”, her symbols are peacock, cow, and wedding ring. Poseidon (Neptune) is the god of “The Sea”, his symbols are sea, trident, horse, and dolphin. Hades (Pluto) is the god of “The Underworld”, his symbols are pomegranate, and cap of invisibility. Hestia (Vesta) is the god of “Hearth/Home”, her symbols are fireplace.
