Osiris was the god of the dead and the ruler of the underworld. He was also the husband/brother of Isis,and the brother of Nepthys and also Seth. To Horus Osiris was his father. As being god of the dead he was also the god of resurrection and also fertility. the ancient Egyptians believed tha they got barley one of the most important crops, that it was a gift from Osiris.

The god of the sky was Horus. The egyptians had many different beliefs about the god of the sky Horus. A belief that said that Horus was the son of Isis and Osiris was a really common belief.
