Chrystal Meth Through Crystal Glass
Crystal Methamphetamine is an illegal drug that is gradually taking over today’s society, causing a false sense of happiness that rolls out a rapid domino effect potentially depriving the consumer of their concept of tomorrow. Commonly known as meth, crank, chalk, glass or ice, this drug is typically consumed by snorting, smoking or injection. Doing so can cause those involved to run into problems that not only affect themselves but also those around them. Dopamine is a very common neurotransmitter that is released in your brain that controls pleasure. Methamphetamine is typically used because the consumers love the way it affects their brain. The chemical is released in excessive amounts that are extremely different compared to other drugs, or sexual activities. For example, cocaine releases 350 units, however with crystal meth, you get a release of about 1250 units of dopamine. What users don’t typically know is that using this stimulant causes changes in your brain chemistry and destroys your wiring which can lead to the destruction being permanent. The mind is a very tricky concept and can take you in directions that have no dead end. My experience with this drug is the transition of my mom's personality. There was always something that had to be done, also known as “tweaking”, this term is used with drug abuse and connects to the increase of anxiety and focused attention causing constant movement. The kitchen in my apartment was never dirty, only because my mom always tweaked out by always focusing her time on cleaning. The hidden factor behind using meth is the appearance of destruction is a process that happens in time, however, every use is causing tissues and blood vessels in the human body to lose the ability to repair itself, therefore the destruction becomes permanent. The common saying that spread across the voice of most is, “I wanna try everything at least once,” and this being said is contributing to finding an addiction. This is the reason why all of you knowing the extremities of using methamphetamines will further reduce the numbers significantly. Addiction is just a word that will soon become you as a person if you let it. The body and brain are beautiful concepts that expand into mysterious, yet scientifically satisfying. The destruction of this shouldn't be from the use of a drug but should be seen as a chance to change something bigger than you. Don't let the power of a drug defeat the power hiding behind your
