The Emu live in open grass lands in Australia with bushes that are close to water. They are almost like all birds with a omnivore diet of fruit, seeds, insects, and flowers. Emus are large bird meaning they have a large body, they have long eyelashes that keep sand and rocks out of their large eyes, male Emus have a large comb or crest on the top of their head and are a bright dark blue, and to match their large body they have really long legs that can kill you with one kick, they also have long neck. They are least concern in Australia manly cause if you get in their way you are dingo food. Emus like all birds have feathers but their feathers are big in size compared to a hummingbird.
