“Hold fast to youth and beauty.”.This quote means to always stay young.This was said by Elizabeth Arden,who made perfume and other beauty products.

Elizabeth Arden was born on December 31,1884.She was born in Woodbridge,Ontario,Canada.Her original name was Florence Nightingale Graham, but changed it to Elizabeth Arden.Her father was a scottish grocer and her mother was cornish.They emigrated from Cornwall in the U.K.She had an older brother and 3 other siblings,which was unknown.

When she was a teenager she dropped out of nursing school and went to help her brother work in Manhattan.Elizabeth worked odd jobs to help support her family and herself.As she grew up she started a beauty salon.After a few years she was married to “Thomas Lewis”.After a few years she was divorced,and continued her career as a beauty salon operator.
