Animal cruelty is broken down into two categories active and passive. Active cruelty is generally neglect. For example ,starvation,dehydration, parasite infestation and others as well. In an online article called, ¨Animal Cruelty Facts and Statistics ¨show animals who are abused is most often reported in dogs, cats, horses, and livestock. For example,¨Based on the 1,423 cruelty cases show 70.1% involved dogs, 20.9% involved cats and 24.1% involved other animals.¨ Animal cruelty encompasses a range of different behavioral harmful to animals, from neglect to malicious, brutal killings. In an article called, ¨ Animal Cruelty and Domestic¨ quotes, ¨ Abusers of animals are five times as likely to harm humans.¨ Which in my opinion I believe is very true, because if any human being is capable of killing an animal or harming them in any way it would not be any harder to abuse a human just as they did to a poor innocent animal who can not defend themselves. They help our environment in so many ways, they help grow our vegetable that we need. As there are people in this world that do not care about the animal world they will do whatever they want to make themselves feel better about themselves while harming these animals. Some people believe, if these animals don't get killed them they will overpopulate and it will be too much. But then there are others who want to save each animal to be safe and secure and healthy, we can't save them all but we can save the ones who are getting brutally abused. So, if you think someone you know is abusing animals, please speak up. The best thing you can do is report your suspicions of cruelty to your local law enforcement agency. Try to gather information before submitting a report of animal cruelty. Write what you observe, photographs of the location, provide law enforcement with names and contact information about the abusive situation. It is possible to file anonymously, and keep a record of whom exactly you contacted, the date of the contacts, cops and any documents. Please save the innocence of
