Maze Runner Critique
The Plot. The plot is the challenge or problem in a story. With The Maze Runner, the plot is escaping the maze. It has an exciting tone with the added struggle of fending off the Grievers, or monsters found in the maze. There are obvious trust issues from the start, with the protagonist showing up remembering his name and having a girl appear a few days later. The plot also shows suspenseful moments throughout the story, such as losing members of the Glade and showing fear in the characters.
