Health care costs will decrease when women are able to plan their pregnancies. Investing in reproductive health may lead to monetary benefits as well as decreasing the rate of deaths among women and children (Singh et al., 2014). This will fulfill internationally recognized rights for women and children. Furthermore, the health benefits are well worth the cost as in the long run, investing in reproductive health will lessen the burden of deaths and conditions caused by unplanned pregnancies. This may include an increase in household earnings and savings, an increase in women’s income, an increase in countries GDP, an increase in children’s schooling, an increase in resources available to women and children, and a reduction in poverty. In the summit, Global Aging and Technology Collaborative discussed its findings regarding technology advances that could help older adults remain active. The Global Aging and Technology Collaborative is a multidisciplinary, multinational group of experts in aging who are dedicated to promoting the use of technology to solve global aging challenges (Gillings School of Global Public Health, 2016). The group is comprised of scientists and professors from organizations and universities that are well recognized worldwide. The group explained that mobility is essential for older adults in order to remain active and avoid stagnation. The group recognized that it is a challenge for people to maintain the same level of activity as they grow older (Gillings School of Global Public Health, 2016). However, the group suggested for health care providers and caretakers to use technological innovations to help older adults remain mobile. The group suggested using mobile devices, such as smartphones and pedometers to set reminders and programs that help older adults perform routine exercises and stay active. The group suggested the reading of few publications, which provide details about newer technological advances that are helpful in increasing mobility within
