In the early morning of April 11, 2018, Rene Madden was found dead at Fowler Middle School by her second-period class. Numerous witnesses who interacted with the victim and the classroom she was found dead. In addition to the evidence obtained from the crime scene, it points to the sole perpetrator of the murder- Mr. Madden, the husband of the victim. He was agonized by the two’s intense argument concerning their divorce thus leading to his mistreatment of Rene and physical abuse that caused her death. According to his interview conducted by Detective Michael Sawyer, Mr. Madden worked as a professor of English Literature at the University of Texas at Dallas and specializes in the Gothic Romances.
