“Sin” makes us think of an immoral act in the eyes of God. In different religions, we see the value of doing what is right and we see what is forbidden. The sin and concept of doing what has been right never allowed humanity to be perfect. This is different from other religions, because it starts from the beginning of time. Christians go back to “original sin” which was conceived from Adam and Eve. It is believed that immorality filled the world at this time. It continued to corrupt society, but God sent his son Jesus Christ as the savior to forgive us from sin. In the beginning of time, in a paradisal world of sustained perpetual bliss, man was unflawed, an “infallible” construct, created and contrived by and in the image of an omnipotent being. However, a malevolent serpent—an embodiment of mankind’s insatiable gravitation to depravity—tempted man into partaking the forbidden fruit, considered to be a manifestation of corruption’s scarlet allure. As soon as the first man and woman of creation partook in the fruit, the souls of humanity were mauled, defaced by new evil desires: avarice, lust, and self-servitude, for humanity was now plagued with “original sin”, a brand to mankind that doomed man to perish by the inexorable evils of corruption and sin. However, God made a covenant with man,…

In the first book of the Bible the original sin was committed. This happened when Eve, the first women, was tempted by Satan to disobey God and eat the forbidden fruit. She then tempted Adam to also eat from the fruit, and thus sin was brought into the world. The people in Year of Wonders believed that we are all sinful because of this original sin, and there’s not much we can do to improve from our sinful state. Because they believed that humanity was so sinful, they also believed that God sometimes punished them for their sin.…

Augustine of Hippo was the first one who came out with the idea of “Original sin” he eagerly taught that the Adamic nature of sin is transmitted to humankind through genes and biological forms, resulting in humanity becoming what he called a massa damnata, which means “mass of perdition, condemned crowd. ”10 When Adam sinned, humankind was cursed to carry a burden, a sinful nature. Adam and Eve, via sexual reproduction, recreated human nature. On the other hand, Brunner thinks other wise. In his book Dogmatic he states that this idea is foreign in the theology and the narrative of the Holy Scriptures.…
