Every establishment strives to achieve success by being innovative and ensuring their demands is met. However, many organisation faced challenges and the New Life Ministries is no exception in this regard. One main challenge this rehabilitation centre faces in doing its work is the family. Based on my visit to the rehab centre, I found out that the family is the major challenge to this establishment as many clients’ projects alleged behaviours upon parents which may cause parental removal of clients. Many clients often alleged share views with their parents which are untrue about the organisation and as a result forced their family to remove them from the rehabilitation centre. The first and main role demonstrate by the employees is the role of the counsellor. According to Suppes and Wells (2003), counsellor helps in alleviating issues by proving clients with suitable therapy and interventions in an attempt to provide counselling towards their problems. Counselling was highlighted as the main role utilized by this rehabilitation centre since most referred clients enter the rehab centre with various addiction which can only be solved firstly via counselling. Another important role utilized by this organisation is Case Managers. Case managers according to Suppes and Wells (2003), “focus on locating services and assisting clients to access those resources”. Upon hearing about the workload of the organisation, I felt sad for those who are employed, since they must ensure most or all clients recover without relapse. Addiction does not cover only one category but can involve internet addicts, porn addicts, gambling addicts or even sex addicts. With the words from the employees, one must follow their gut feelings in order to make positive solutions. I felt worried for clients when one of the employee stated that there is no inhumane treatment but you must know when to be harsh, outspoken, resilience or even compassionate.
