Reguarding Interpersonal Communication

One of the important reasons that I can think of reguarding why it is important to study conflict is the way that it affects interpersonal communication. Any type of communication that happens between two people or a group of people has a potential for conflict. Since conflict is a reality of interpersonal communications knowing how to manage and approach conflict depends on knowing interpersonal communication.
The study of conflict management helps to inform a person on different ways that people could respond to conflict in relationships. This is interpersonal communication.
