The aim of the paper is to provide the knowledge and importance of operations management in an organisation. The Refresco company is selected which is one of the juice manufacturer in UK. According to Refresco (2015), the company brings liquid food and soft drinks and has one of the most comprehensive logistics infrastructures around Europe. The managed route of the juice manufacturer from sourcing, manufacturing and contract packing and to packing and 3PL solutions, they have the large and small businesses alike.

They, especially in the field of administration, have some differences of meaning that depends solely on language skills, given that the semantics is a key factor that will focus on the negative or positive result of the procedure. Thus, effectiveness and efficiency surround the daily universe of many users sometimes considered synonymous one another in the company. The fact is that even being considered, there are no perfect synonyms, because they usually have differences. In order to evaluate aim, it is to meet through the tasks that play on desktop. In both cases, Refresco use what they call processing model where the inputs or resources to be transformed undergo a process of transformation that results in outputs.

For operations in Refresco, these are well implemented and managed, it is necessary to monitor performance. This monitoring should cover the most important aspects of operations in an attempt to achieve competitive advantage for the organisation.
