The teacher will model by sharing their own favorite experience in nature. The teacher tells the students to pay close attention to the story. My favorite experience in nature was spring of 2016 in up state New York. I was camping and loved the tranquil forest filled the sounds of the river and birds. The plush green trees and breathtaking views on the hiking trails. Swimming in the crystal clear waters, the large fish and fly fishing, the long nights laying under the stars with sounds of the owls at night. Waking up to the sweet smells of dew and fresh campfire coffee in the morning. No technology to distract one’s time with animals and nature. To this day my mind longs for more camping there. When people ask me about camping I always mention the places I went and how beautiful and peaceful it is.
