There are several factors for me wanting to transfer to Simpson College. I went to high school in Indianola and I like the small town feel along with the big city competitiveness. Indianola is a place that I have had great leaders and experiences that my children, in the future, would be able to learn and experience life, like I did. In high school, I had the privilege to be taught and mentored by Kevin Barnes, who also went to Simpson College. He talked highly about Simpson College and everything he had accomplished there; so, I've always been intrigued by the idea of receiving an education and competing there as well.
