Online Writing Reflection

Prior to this course, I was concerned about the challenges of writing until I come across the course syllables. However, what gravitate my attention from the listed content on the syllables is writing for success. So as one pondered through the content of the course one realizes the course expectation and the importance of successful writing strategies to succeed in college courses (Saylor.org). But, it became apparent as one acknowledges that it is crucial to learn the general techniques of writing to ensure one success in any writing task. Because, writing can be daunting not understanding the process.

Then the question that comes to mind is how I could organize that facts and what must be done to convince my audience while differentiating facts regarding public and private school. Though, while one is trying to figured out what would best way to organize my ideas and stage my argument, it comes to my realization that I must learn to develop my arguments, understand my audience, evaluating source of material, approaching arguments rhetorically whereas avoiding logical fallacies. As a result, I visited online writing lab for more interactive learning on modes of persuasion, organizing one’s argument, argumentative purposes, using evidence, argument analysis revision of argument and putting it all together. He responded to my email and then followed up with a phone call to provide assistance by showing various ways to successfully conduct online library research. Furthermore, I asked the librarian a series of questions on ways to avoid plagiarism after watching plagiarism video tutorial. But the video I watched provide series of exercise on plagiarism on how it crucial that when using an article in an online database that it must be cited appropriately. Because the benefit of citing sources help to avoid plagiarism, respect intellectual property, helps readers in finding one sources while adding credibility
