One of the founders Bobby Seale of The Black Panther Party just turned 80 old, and they show how the Black community of West Oakland, California came out to celebrate his life. Mr. Seale spoke on how The Black Panther Party is continuing what had started by in 1960. Moreover, he said they don’t carry guns now they carry their cell phone to take pictures and record any injustice that might arise. Newton; Minister of Defense who helped founded The Black Panther Party. Next they introduced Elaine Brown, the former chairwoman of The Black Panther Party. She discussed how they are continued to do their Community Service in Oakland such as an Urban Garden Farm to help ex-convicts learn a skill so that they can work their way back into the community.
